While we driving home from California, we decided to be a bit spontaneous and head over to Lake Tahoe for one last night before vacation ended. I have been wanting to go to Lake Tahoe for awhile, but have just never made it. I am SOOO glad we did! It was a ton of fun and now I want to go back for longer. We stayed in a little hotel right off the lake with access to a private beach. The weather was perfect for relaxing on the beach and the kids played in the sand and Lillie even went for a swim (such a daredevil!!). We also went to the Emerald Bay overlook....beautiful! After the kids went to bed, Travis and I sat out on our hotel room's porch and watched the lake in the moonlight. It was the perfect end to our trip!
